When Citizen developed their first generation CITILED COB modules, they immediately understood the need of coöperation with optical and thermal partners to generate an easy availability of all the components needed for a succesfull lighting design.
All Citizen CITILED COB arrays, ranging from the first generation CLL020, CLL030, CLL040 and CLL050 over the second generation CLL022, CLL032, CLL042 and CLL052 up to the latest released CLU024, CLU034, CLU044 and CLU054 are thermally validated on a wide range of our standard passive and active coolers.
For luminaire designs up to 4.500 lumen you can find plenty of passive solutions in our product range.
All these coolers are foreseen from mounting holes which allow direct fitting of the COB on the cooler, as well as Zhaga book 3 mounting holes if you want to apply a LED holder for fixation.
For vertical oriented designs and tilting angles up to maximum 50 degrees both our star shaped LED coolers as our pin fin LED coolers are perfectly positioned.
If you make designs where you tilt the luminaire over angles of more than 50 degrees like for track lighting, we suggest you to use our Citizen pin fin coolers, since these are designed in this way that the cooling performance stays unchanged all the way up to a full horizontal position.
The high power packages CLL042, CLL052, CLU044 and CLU054 are also extremely popular for high bay and high-lumen industrial designs. Our IceLED active cooler gives a light-weight, compact size solution all the way up to 20.000 lumen designs with these COB's. Your next high bay design might be weighing less than a kilo!
